We use the monthly toolkit updates sent out to the charity from Give as youLive. We have added messaging in our direct newsletters and on our Facebook and Twitter pages.
How have the funds raised through Give as you Live helped your charity?
We are currently fundraising to "Raise the Roof on a new Marquee!" Having secured valuable support funding from Heritage Lottery Fund and Architectural Heritage Fund the Arkwright Society is needing to fundraise to replace our old & creaky marquee. It has provided valiant service, but now that winter is here, even the bunting and fairy lights will not keep the rain out!
We want to hold bigger and better events in the Mill Yard, on a year round basis. Our family events and Mill Markets have been successful this summer, but with a new marquee we would have the chance to host weddings, theatre productions and larger conferences all year round! This would bring more people to Cromford Mills to support the continued regeneration of this wonderful World Heritage Site.

Give as you Live enables us to offer our supporters an easy way to support us whilst living their everyday lives, without having to think about it!.
