Who are your charity and what you do?
We are a Bradford based charity, supporting the victims of Domestic Violence and Sexual Abuse. We manage four refuges across west Yorkshire and a further 12 safe houses. we have Community teams of specialist support workers as well as the accommodation Team and we're Bradford Council's contracted provider of these services. Last year we received 22,911 calls and webchats asking for help and and 6,844 people received one-to-one support, including over 400 children. The numbers of people needing our help just keeps going up, so we need all the help we can get to keep providing it.
How does your charity use Give as you Live? How do you share Give as you Live with your supporters?
We advertise Give as you Live as much as we're able; in our newsletters, on our website and across all our social media platforms. We use all of your products. Just this month, our Business Development Manager booked his annual holiday and renewed his car and household insurances using Give as you Live, raising £100 in the process. It's just a fantastic idea; it's basically free money for charities! What's not to like!
What impact has been made with the funds raised via Give as you Live?
The impact has been great; so far we've used funds raised for all kinds of things; from a day out for some of the children living in refuges, to purchasing beds, cookers and fridges for those coming towards the end of their journey and moving into new homes as single parents. Relatively small amounts of money CAN make a huge difference to our service users and we're sincerely grateful for the help we receive via Give as you Live.
What has been your greatest success using Give as you Live?
Getting our staff, friends of staff and even service users a chance to give without affecting their own finances in these austere times. It's heartwarming to see what people will do to try and make a difference and Give as you Live allows them to do just that without having to risk their own budgets.
Any top tips you would recommend to other charities?
Keep pushing it! Keep telling people how you use it. Tell people what you've used the funds for and how it's helped and keep telling them - it costs you nothing to help others - it's amazing!

What the charity thinks...
I use Give as you Live all the time; I just wait for the little pop-up on my screen and shop as normal. It's a good feeling knowing I've done Staying Put's service users some good and of course, it costs me no more than a few seconds to do so. Anyone with a heart, and let's face it, that's most people, should be doing this.
